Jonathan Lacey, Principal

Private Investigator and Security Consultant

Jonathan retired from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) after serving as a Special Agent for over 21 years. He is experienced in crisis management, active shooter response, hostage negotiation, mobile surveillance, firearms, undercover operations, and public corruption. His last position in the FBI was as the Crisis Manager, Training Coordinator and Active Shooter Coordinator for the FBI’s Buffalo Division.

He is a West Point graduate and former Field Artillery officer in the U.S. Army. Jonathan also understands business, having worked as an award-winning sales representative for Pfizer, Inc. and as a Sr. Manager of Sales and Customer Service and Sr. Product Manager for Advanced Energy, Inc.

After retiring from the FBI in March of 2018, Jonathan formed STS in Buffalo, New York to give nonprofits, attorneys, and businesses nationwide key skills needed to respond to unexpected threats, as well as to improve their overall physical security posture. Jonathan is licensed as a private investigator by the New York State Department of State.

Stephan Marshall, Senior Security Consultant

Steve retired from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) after 20 years of service. During that time, he served as a Special Agent, Supervisory Special Agent, and Chief Division Counsel. Steve also served as the Director of the New Mexico Law Enforcement Academy and an Assistant District Attorney and County Attorney in Ellis County and Tarrant County, Texas. He has also operated a solo practitioner law practice, primarily litigating criminal cases. Steve has a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Texas Tech University and a Bachelor of Arts from Fort Lewis College.

Louize Yafai is an accredited Emotional Recovery and Resilience specialist based in London, UK, working globally and partnering with STS Risk Management Group to support individuals during high-pressure situations, crisis events and periods of significant transition.

Her work focuses on internal emotional steadiness, helping people remain calm, clear-headed and effective when stress, threat or disruption could otherwise impair judgment and decision-making.

Through this partnership, Louize provides discreet, independent emotional support that complements external security and investigative services. Client confidentiality is absolute.  Conversations remain private and no names, details or identifying information are shared with partners or organizations.

Louize works with private individuals, professionals, organizations, and athletes, supporting those impacted by workplace strain, public scrutiny, injury, career transition and major life events, including situations involving heightened or perceived risk concerns.
